Poultry enterprise Value Chain
We are partnering with the County Government through the World Bank’s National Agricultural Rural Inclusive Growth Project (NARIGP) to scale-out and support farmers through supply and capacity building of local chicken in Kanyasa Ward of Migori County.
We anticipate initiating a poultry dressing and packaging plant as a value addition mechanism.
Through Lake Victoria Environmental Management Programme (LVEMP II), we were able to start this enterprise.
FISH FARMING
We are partnering with the ministry of fisheries development in cage farming in Lake Victoria waters in Karungu division. The Ministry has given the group 1 fish cage and the group installed 1 other cage. Currently the group intends to put up a hatchery for fingerlings to reduce the cost of obtaining fingerlings from other counties.
HEALTHCARE (SORI LAKESIDE HOSPITAL)
Sori Lakeside Hospital was started in 1986. Since inception, the hospital has expanded to include 4 other facilities. Our Healthcare facilities are located in Sori, Ndhiwa, Nyatike, Sindo and Mbita towns in the Republic of Kenya.
